Successful Presentations in the MA-Seminar “Digital Innovation & Business Planning (DIB)” to the Siemens Healthineers Management Jury in Forchheim!
On January 23, 2025, 29 Master students enrolled in the MA-Seminar “Digital Innovation & Business Planning (DIB)” at the Chair of Accounting and Management Control (Prof. Dr. Thomas M. Fischer), jointly with Siemens Healthineers and Valsight, presented their innovative business cases for solving current challenges in the healthcare sector. Building on the knowledge of design thinking and applied business planning, the 29 student participants successfully convinced the SHS management jury with their inspiring business ideas. The presentations were followed by an interactive management dialogue as well as a guided tour through the Siemens Healthineers Experience Center.
We gratefully appreciate the outstanding efforts of all contributors to this course, especially the senior managers of Siemens Healthineers, Katharina Hesels (CEO, IBD), Stephan Pierer von Esch (CFO, CS), Dr. Stefan Henkel (CIO), and Christin Kleineidam (Executive Associate to Dr. Jochen Schmitz, CFO), the instructors Martina Thaler (Head of Service for Enterprise Services, Sustainability Lead within CS), Bradley Waters (Innovation Manager) and advisors from Siemens Healthineers and Valsight for providing their excellent and valuable expert knowledge!
